Antidote to Eurovision: African Disco

The Eurovision final is tomorrow night. A 90 year old Englebert Humperdinck will represent the UK. My, we've let it slip a bit through the years.

To REALLY get your blood pumping on this (wet) Saturday night, here's a fine collection of 1970s disco. Actually, R&B ala Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, afrobeat without Fela and lots of other goodies from Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana.

Track Listing:
01 Shakara Oloje-Lady [Eprahim Uzomechina Nzeka]
02 Get That Groove In [Blo]
03 Advice from Father [Buari]
04 Ashewo Ara [Kabbala]
05 Afro-DiscoBeat [Tony Allen and Afrika 70]
06 Kaloule Woman [Malinga Five]
07 The Way It Used To Be [Pacific Express]
08 A.I.E (A'Mwana) [Black Blood]
09 Zombie [Eprahaim Uzomechina Nzeka]
